Department of Public Health Dentistry, Dr. D Y Patil Dental College, Pune established in 2002 is dedicated towards providing prompt oral health care related treatment at the doorsteps of the underserved population of the community.
Four rural/urban dental centers :
With the mission to serve the underserved, Department has put special initiatives towards the identification of the vulnerable cohorts of the society such as orphans, industrial workers, senior citizens, school children with disabilities or differently abled, jail inmates, tobacco addicts and population in needs who are served with the help of Mobile dental Clinic which is equipped with screen to educate the masses.
Mobile Dental Clinic: Two in number
The department has aundergraduate and post graduate clinic, a OPD centre is being managed at Dr DY Patil Ayurveda College, Students are seminar room with projector attached.
