Instructions for Abstract Preparation and Submission
  • Registration is necessary for the 21st National IAOMP PG convention for (oral/poster presentation) acceptance of the abstract.
  • Abstracts must be original and should not have been published or presented anywhere in the past.
  • Only one presentation is accepted per person as chief presenter, however, a maximum of 2 names can be listed in the submissions as co-presenters.
  • Only registered delegates will be allowed to present oral/poster presentations.
  • Any mismatch in the registration form and abstract submission form may invite disqualification.
  • Abstract submitted by a student must be authorized by the Head of his/her department.
  • All abstracts must be submitted through the online submission system Abstracts submitted after the deadline will not be considered for presentation.
Abstract Submission Format
  • Heading Font – 14, Times New Roman; Content Font – 12, Times New Roman;
  • Title: The title should depict the scientific contents of the presentation. It should not be more than 25 words and typed in sentence case (all letters in lowercase except the first letter of the first word of the title)
  • Abstract Text Word Limit: Not to be more than 250 words except title, authors and affiliation details, etc.

For Original Research (Oral/ Poster)

  • Introduction and Objectives
  • Methodology including study design.
  • Results
  • Conclusions

For Case Reports (Oral/ Poster)

  • Introduction
  • Case Report
  • Clinical Significance or Unique feature

For Scientific Reviews : (Oral/ Poster)

  • The abstract may not have strict criteria but the presenters must mention systematically about the proposed presentation.

Review Process

All submitted abstracts will be sent for blinded review by the Scientific Review Committee and only accepted abstract notification will be sent to the presenter by email.

Acceptance of paper/poster Abstracts: 21st May 2024
