The department boasts state-of-the-art technology, including lasers, dental operating microscopes, dental loupes, and advanced endodontic equipment, along with dedicated teaching and non-teaching staff.

Undergraduates are trained in prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of dental caries and other defects of natural teeth, with opportunities for independent research and competence in restoration, rehabilitation, and maintenance of the dentition.

The department offers a three-year full-time postgraduate program specialising in restoration of appearance, occlusal form and function, aesthetic dentistry, full mouth rehabilitation, endodontic therapy, and surgeries.

The use of dental operating microscopes for special cases and endodontic microsurgery is highly encouraged, and PGs are encouraged to use the latest dental materials available in the market.
