Summary of Deployment:
The flight crashed on Fri 7th Aug 2020. I was activated within hours of the unfortunate mishap. I completed the formalities of my deployment on Sat 8th Aug 2020 at the college. My travel to Kozhikode was through New Delhi and Coimbatore. I procured travel passes from Police Commisioner Pune and Principal Secretary, State Coordinator for Inter state transit, Govt of Kerala apart from Medical Certificates for travelling from Pune, Maharashtra to Kozhikode, Kerala. I flew from Pune Int Airport to Indira Gandhi Int Airport, New Delhi on Sun 9th Aug 2020. Thereafter, on Mon 10th Aug 2020, I flew from New Delhi to Coimbatore. Reached Coimbatore at 1400. From there we travelled to Kozhikode which is approximately 200 KM from Coibatore airport by road in a private coach to reach our accomodation in Kozhikode at 2100. On Tue 11th Aug 2020, we procureed our Airport Entry Permits (AEP) which is essential to gain access in secured areas including crash site. From 12th Aug 2020 onwards we commenced the operations and completed the deployment in a relatively quick time on Mon 24th Aug 2020. Towards the end of our deployment we all had our RT-PCR based COVID-19 tests done. All the team members were tested negative. I bagan my return journey on Mon 24th Evening. Took a flight from Kozhikode to Bangalore. And from there to Pune. Reached Pune on Tue 25th Aug 2020 early morning at 0430.
